Service Description

I believe in a compassionate, respectful and non-judgemental approach to building a working relationship with you. The focus of our meeting will be to discuss your safety and happiness in your home. We will also explore what is most important to you, and if you see any problems with the amount or organisation of your belongings. We can meet outside of your home initially if you prefer, or wherever makes you feel most comfortable. I will always be respectful within your home, and am genuinely interested in your experiences and perspective on your situation. If ever you are ever finding my approach challenging, please be assured that I would want you to let me know. I appreciate any feedback you can give me that will make you feel at the centre of all that we do, as this will allow us to work together optimally towards your personal goals. I will always strive to provide a safe, open and honest space for you to express yourself confidently. Whenever you feel ready, we can start going through your things at your own pace with a view to improving your safety and/or quality of life within your home. This may involve re-organising items, and on some occasions, taking items to charity shops, recycling or disposing of some things. We will always discuss appropriate removal of items before doing so. Whilst it may be important to deal with your physical belongings, the focus will be grounded in kindness and respect, allowing you to express concerns at any point.
